AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award 2020

This award honors those individuals who deserve special recognition, who have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, embodied the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of an AKC member club. The Del Monte Kennel Club award for 2020 goes to Tom Craig.
Tom is a kind and dedicated member of DMKC. He is a regular doing setup for Obedience classes, with occasional absences for his gig as Cody's Roady. He camps at our All Breed and Agility Shows to supervise Rvs, and gets up early to unlock doors before others arrive. He helps with hospitality at our ABS, he stays around for cleanup, and will, with a smile on his face, take a bag of garbage that he deems too heavy for you. He is gracious and efficient. If he sees a need he takes care of it; he made a video demonstrating how to set up Zoom on your computer for those who needed it before we started holding meetings online. Tom may tell you of a beautiful piece of music that reminds him of your dog. For all of these things, and many contributions I haven't listed, we are proud to honor you with this award!
